Waxstock is a retail and trade event, open to the general public, and split about 70/30 consumer/trade in terms of focus and attendance. We encourage direct sales to the general public as well as product display/demonstration and trade networking.
Manufacturers and Distributors
Waxstock is Europe’s largest gathering of specialist car care manufacturers at a single event, with between 60-80 brands represented every year. From small independent companies to huge bluechip brands, local companies to those from the other side of the world, representatives of almost every type of car care product and accessory will be at the show. Visitors can watch demos, get specialist product advice and take advantage of exclusive show deals. Attendance is 3000+ visitors, with many coming from Europe or beyond. All are car care enthusiasts and they often spend hundreds of pounds per head (making multiple trips to load up their cars!), making them an audience of the highest quality. Traders typically report high revenues with many commenting that it was the ‘best one day show’ they had ever done from a financial perspective (even against much larger, more established events). Eight times more daily revenue than at Goodwood FoS, the largest car show in the UK? Apparently it happened to one of our traders last year! Retailers, Traders and Specialists
The sheer variety of car care trade stands gives Waxstock a unique feel. As well as the biggest names in car care retail, you might spot specialist insurance brokers and charity stalls laden with detailing gear. Every stand is car care focused – we won’t allow Waxstock to turn into ‘just another’ car show with the usual selection of traders seen at every motoring event. And just when you think that retail stands selling similar products may struggle to turn a profit, remember that it’s a shopping pilgrimage for detailing enthusiasts that only happens once a year. Some customers spend £300-£400 per head, and email shopping lists in advance of attendance to ensure that they don’t miss out on show offers. Competitive show deals ensure a great day’s trading – with few of the costs associated with two, three or four day shows (hotels, van hire, staff food etc). What’s more, set up and breakdown are quick and easy, and rain can never spoil the day (in fact, it may even encourage customers to spend more time inside the hall).
Pro Valeters and Detailers
If you are a professional valeter or detailer, Waxstock is an annual pilgrimage - Saturday night is a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues (often until the early hours), and Sunday is your opportunity to try new products, meet suppliers and stock up on detailing gear.
