WHERE & WHEN

Waxstock is held in the Exhibition Hall at the Coventry Building Society Arena in Coventry (was Ricoh). The postcode is CV6 6GE and the Arena is well signposted and close to major routes, including the M1, M6 and M40. Getting to Waxstock has never been easier.

Getting There

The show opens at 9.30am on Sunday 5th June 2022 and closes at 4.30pm on the same day. It is only open to the public during these times and it is a ticketed event (via wristband).

FREE PARKING!

Parking at the event has been subsidised by us, the show organisers, to ensure that no parking charges apply. DO NOT pay for car parking at the ticket machines on-site. The barrier will open automatically on show day when you leave the event.

All car parking will be on hard-standing areas, static cars should be aware that there is moderate but manageable traffic calming. Coventry Building Society Arena has good facilities for disabled visitors and parking, but please remember that there is no camping at the venue and dogs are not allowed (apart from guide dogs for the sight- or hearing-impaired).

Staying Over

There is no camping at the venue – sorry tent lovers and hardcore yurters. So why not stay overnight at the 4-star DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, on-site at the Coventry Building Society Arena? It’s also just a few metres away from the 24 hour Grosvenor Casino, as well as the show hall.

If you are unlucky and all rooms have sold, there will still be a variety of ‘off-site’ hotels in the surrounding area to choose from:

Novotel Coventry (less than a mile from Ricoh)

Holiday 142 (less than half a mile from Ricoh)

But nothing beats waking up at a venue and wandering downstairs for the show.

Should you want a drink or evening meal, there are plenty of options: The Mill Bar and Brasserie, Faradays Restaurant and the Grosvenor Casino (including club and bar). Official ID required for entrance into the Casino.

Plus, there is a large selection of restaurants and shops in the nearby retail park (approx. 5 mins walk from the Arena) including Pizza Hut, Frankie and Benny’s, Chiquito etc.
